Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using GCalSync ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

GCalSync provides a calendar synchronization service that allows you to sync events between multiple Google Calendar accounts. The Service includes:

• Connecting multiple Google Calendar accounts
• Creating one-way or bidirectional sync configurations
• Automatic or manual synchronization of calendar events
• Privacy controls including event prefixes and color coding
• Duplicate event detection and management

Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must:

• Create an account using a valid email address or Google account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years of age

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• All activity that occurs under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring your calendar connections and permissions are properly managed

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to send spam or malicious content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

Calendar Access and Permissions

By connecting your Google Calendar accounts, you grant GCalSync permission to:

• View your calendar metadata and events
• Create, update, and delete events in your calendars as per your sync configurations
• Access calendar sharing settings and permissions

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting your calendars in the GCalSync dashboard. Revoking access will stop all synchronization for that calendar.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that:

• The Service will be available 100% of the time
• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• All syncs will complete successfully
• The Service will meet all your requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

User Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for backing up your calendar data
• You should review sync configurations carefully before enabling automatic syncing
• You are responsible for managing calendar permissions and sharing settings
• Synced events may be modified or deleted if you change sync configurations
• You should regularly review synced events to ensure accuracy

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, source code, and design, is owned by GCalSync and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

Your Content

You retain all rights to your calendar data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access, store, and process your calendar data solely to provide the synchronization service you requested.

Fees and Payment

GCalSync is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or premium features in the future. If we do so:

• We will provide advance notice of any pricing changes
• You will have the option to accept the new terms or discontinue use of the Service
• Existing free features may be grandfathered or subject to reasonable limitations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GCALSYNC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
• Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the Service
• Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the Service
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service
• Loss or corruption of calendar data
• Missed appointments or scheduling conflicts due to sync errors

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GCalSync and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any content you submit or sync through the Service

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google Calendar, a third-party service. Your use of Google Calendar is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for:

• Google Calendar's availability or performance
• Changes to Google Calendar API or policies
• Any issues with your Google account
• Google's handling of your data

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the dashboard. Upon termination:

• All calendar access tokens will be revoked
• All synced events created by GCalSync will be deleted
• Your account data will be permanently deleted

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Prolonged inactivity
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GCalSync operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GCalSync regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
